Introduction
The 2013 Mazda 2 is carefully related to the amazing Ford Bamboula, a heritage of a Mazda-Ford platform-sharing collaboration. And thats not a bad thing. Like the Bamboula, the Mazda 2 functions a short wheelbase, a primary but sensitive revocation style and fast guiding. Thanks to its little size, the Mazda 2 doesnt need a lot of motor energy to create it fun to drive.
But the lovely hatchback provides some forfeit as well. Its not particularly spacious; a Ford Fit can carry twice as much equipment thanks to better internal appearance. The Mazda 2s back seat are crowded and not an ideal space for grownups on longer pushes, and its gas mileage drops midpack. And the Mazda 2 offers restricted comfort and technical functions that are quickly becoming conventional on competing designs.

The sport comes conventional with 15-inch metal tires, air-conditioning, energy components, keyless access, a point leader, a 60/40-split foldable back seat, a four-speaker audio program with a CD gamer and USB/auxiliary feedback ports.
Upgrading to the Traveling trim gets you 15-inch metal tires, foglights, a back ceiling spoiler, firefox fatigue tips, a leather-wrapped leader with sound manages, a journey computer, vacation management, improved fabric seat with red pipes and a six-speaker speakers. Factory choices for either trim level consist of an auto-dimming rearview reflection and a center system with an armrest.
Performance

The EPA reports that the Mazda 2 profits 29 mpg city/35 mpg road and 32 mpg along with the stick shift. The automated profits 28/34/30 mpg. Both are a little below regular for the category.

Safety
Standard precautionary functions for the 2013 Mazda 2 consist of antilock braking system (discs at the front part, percussion in rear), front-seat part protection bags, part layer protection bags and balance and grip management.
The Interior Design and Special Features
The 2013 Mazda 2 internal is a study in cost-control minimalism, but it does the job. What the style does not have in succeed, it creates up for with loyalty and application, right down to simple lemon show lighting style and simple sound and environment manages. The front part seat are relaxed and offer enough room for higher grownups, though most will wish for a telescopic leader -- a significant omission. The smooth and crowded back seat, however, are a frustration.
Cargo potential is 13.3 cubic legs with the back seat in place, which is small for a hatchback. With those 60/40-split seat collapsed (they dont flip completely flat), potential improves to 27.8 pieces. Thats also rather measly, as an Feature maintains 47.5 cubic legs while a Fit features 57.3 pieces.

Driving Impressions
Even for an economic program car, the Mazda 2s 100-hp four-cylinder is poor by modern requirements. The hatchback creates the most of it, though, at least with the stick shift. The obsolete four-speed automated seems difficult under speeding, with somewhat irregular moving and less petrol performance than the guide. The guide takes some modifying, though, with a high your pedal action that seems a little unexplained when first getting ongoing.
On the other hand, the Mazda 2s light control bodyweight -- just 2,300 pounds -- decreases the pressure on the free-revving motor. This, in addition to guiding that seems company and communicative -- unusual attributes among electric-assist systems in this section -- create the 2013 Mazda 2 feel fast on its legs.
